You need the 8400 series front and rear brackets to install these slides. The slides work great once you get use to giving the drawer box a shove to engage the soft close function. I would recommend wiping down the outside of the tracks before handling so you are less likely to transfer oils on your hands during installation.

In our cabinet business we will go to great lengths to deliver a design. Sometimes to get the most out of space you need a little extra clearance. These over travel glides are perfect for getting the extra inch to give full access to a pullout. Our client wanted to have a custom paper holder under the counter, but the best place for it was over a twin waste pullout. The paper towel pullout caused a conflict with the rear waste can, 1/4" to clear for removal. These glides added 1 full inch of travel and solved the conflict.

I have used many drawer glides in the past but usually go back to the KV or Blum when I need them. If I want drawer-side glides, I go with the KV and if I want under-mount glides, I go with Blum. I do this because I have always had good luck with them and they are the smoothest I have used. The quality is definitely the best and the durability is unmatched. I have used cheaper glides in the past, but usually have regretted the decision.
