    Have not had the chance to install the hinges yet. The hinges look good. I have a six foot high panty door that keeps breaking the center hinge. This is caused by a slight warp that bows our in the center of the door. I'm anxious to replace the old hinges with the neww TEC 1 series and see how it stands up to the stress.

    I ordered these replacement hinges because they were supposed to line up with the existing hinges (holes, etc.) and work just like the previous hinge. Didn't work. Required drilling new holes and still didn't work. Doesn't line up at all. I'm glad I only ordered 4, so I'm only out that money. Would've been great, had they worked. I would've ordered more.

    They work and fit fine, but it took an expert over 1 and 1/2 hours to install five hinges (continuous trial and error screwing and unscrewing, taking the hinges on and off) to get them to hang the door squarely and work properly. In this space age, can't you make something that is simpler to install?

    I was able to find the exact hinge needed to replace broken hidden Soss hinges in a Martha Washington cabinet. The price was reasonable. It did take a while to ship out (ordered May 15, shipping notice June 2) but then arrived quickly once shipped.
