I was advised that THE Tec 863 was the replacement for my 40 year old cabinet hinges. While not exact it is close and if I was a better handyman would probably fit a little better. The product is of good quality and the service was excellent. I recommend Cabinet Parts for your needs.

I took on a project as a favor for my Doctor in his office to restore two cabinet draws and to replace upper & lower hinges on one of the cabinet doors. I couldn't find any markings to Identify the hinges, so I searched the Internet and came across Cabinetparts.com. There I found the 862 face mount variable overlay w/dowels that looked like a pretty close match. I ordered them and hoped for the best. I can't tell you how happy I was when I removed the broken hinges from the door and the new ones fit right in place.

by James from PORTSMOUTH, RIThe hinges worked great. However, the screws that were recommended to go with the hinges were round headed rather than flat headed. The hinges would not close completely with the round heads. I had to go to my local ACE to get the appropriate flat head screws.
