    I needed to replace the Grass hinges on our kitchen cabinets that were installed in 1991. I contacted Custom Wood Creations in Fayton, Ohio and they told me the hinge was discontinued; however, there was a replacement. I ordered the replacement from Cabinet Parts and when I received them and they worked perfectly! The price was very reasonable and the installation was painless.

    the hinge I needed is not longer made. customer service helped me figure out which replacement to get. i had to drill some new holes, but it was easy to install--easier than I thought it would be. job well done. I'll be back.

    I replaced several old Grass hinges that no longer kept cabinet doors closed. The Tec hinges work well. I got the Vix Bit for drilling the holes and followed the instructions in the video. I'm not really very skilled, but was able to replace the hinges myself without any problems. I also order a package of the #6 X 5/8" Flat Hinge screws. The screws worked well as the old screws went into plastic inserts and did not have sharp ends.

    I love the heft and look of the bronze plates. My only concern is with the mounting screws. For such a large plate and for security matters the screws are only 1/2 inch long. They would be easy to pry off. I have bought 1 inch screws, (the longest that wo
