Received old Grass Hinges, which would have been fine.....except one was bent!! So had to go down to Simons, a specialty hardware store in NYC and they duplicated the old hinges I brought from my cabinet.

Kitchen is full of 1990's Grass 1000 hinges, broken or on their way out, and it appears now obsolete. I found Cabinet Parts a great source to replace them. Their helpful links on understanding overlay and guidance on what would be an appropriate replacement saved me lots of work. I might have had to fill holes, re-drill, etc. Turns out these Tiomos hinges fit about perfectly, along with their website guidance on the cabinet mounting plate. Also, I appreciated the pricing on bulk numbers, as lots of my old ones are gone or going, and it's only a matter of time for the rest. Shipping was quick, pricing was nice, and these hinges are working perfectly. Very happy I found CabinetParts!

I was a bit concerned when I first started this project. Our existing cabinet hinges are over 25 years old, installed during our original kitchen remodel, and we had no original documentation for reference. The support team was excellent; they guided me through taking the necessary measurements and photos, and ultimately, they identified the perfect replacements. The part itself is fine, but it is listed by the manufacturer as being a replacement for a discontinued older version, part #1006-30 manufactured by Grass. The new hinge in unfortunately too close to being a match, but not a match. The screw holes for mounting the part are half a screw width wider than those for the original part, so they cannot be used, and the overlap makes drilling new holes impossible. You would have to patch the prior mounting holes and then attempt to drill new ones half overlapping your fill. Like I said, close but no cigar, so I only recommend these hinges for new applications where they would be fine.
